The site was originally founded in 2000 as a small roller coaster fan site featuring several Texas theme parks. A year later, the staff found that it would be best to shift efforts to exclusively covering one park; Six Flags Fiesta Texas. In late 2001, the site relaunched under the name SFFTNet Six Flags Fiesta Texas Network and prepared for construction coverage of Scooby Doo Ghostblasters: The Mystery of the Haunted Mansion.
